Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama’s exhibition at Galerie Kamel Mennour in Paris was remixed into this unnarrated sequence of close ups and crops of his charged photographs. Grainy spreads of cherry blossoms, cities in winter snow, spread legs, hoisted rear ends, elephants, beach scenes, beggars, and bears jostle each other beneath the covers of this boisterous, sensuous collection. Patrick Remy contributes a biographical sketch in French and English.
