Color Scribbler GK249 by Czech artist Květa Pacovská for Swatch is a collectible Artist Special wristwatch released in 1997. Measuring 34 mm / 1.34 in in diameter, the watch features a transparent plastic case and strap covered with Pacovská’s colorful abstract forms, together with a red and green dial that partially reveals the movement beneath. The model formed part of Swatch’s Artist Set 4.

Color Scribbler GK249 by Květa Pacovská for Swatch is an artist-designed Gent wristwatch released in 1997 as part of the Swatch & Art program. The model was included in Artist Set 4, a six-watch collection featuring designs by women artists including Miran Fukuda, Jo Whaley, Nancy Dwyer, Donna Muir & Su Huntley, and Květa Pacovská.

The watch has a 34 mm / 1.34 in transparent plastic case with a thickness of approximately 8.75 mm / 0.34 in. It is powered by a quartz movement and is rated to 3 bar / 30 m water resistance. The transparent plastic strap is covered with vivid abstract color fields, while sections of the red and green dial are cut away to reveal parts of the movement beneath.

Pacovská’s design reflects the bold geometric forms, primary colors, typography, and playful visual experimentation that characterize her wider artistic practice. The transparent construction of the watch allows the colorful design to interact directly with the mechanical structure beneath, reinforcing Swatch’s concept of the wristwatch as a small wearable artwork.

Color Scribbler formed part of Swatch’s Spring–Summer 1997 Artist collection and is documented as a limited-production artist model under reference GK249.
