Three Strikes You’re Out by Robert Longo is a mixed-media triptych from 1990, combining two aluminium plates with C-print and colour screenprint imagery and one lead plate with colour screenprint. The work was created for the mixed-media box edition Contemporary Archaeology, Pandora Part Three and published by Bébert, Rotterdam. 

The composition features cloud imagery overlaid with red “X” forms, using Longo’s graphic intensity and material contrast to create a compact but forceful wall object.
