Aquafun PMK122 by Swatch is an unusual Midi Pop Swatch Special released in 1998 and built around a playful swimming and water-sport concept.

The watch has a plastic case measuring approximately 32 mm / 1.26 in in diameter and 13 mm / 0.51 in thick. It is powered by an ETA quartz movement and was originally rated to 3 bar / 30 m water resistance.

Its most distinctive feature is the bright orange inflatable strap, shaped like a child’s swimming armband or float. The strap can be inflated to different levels depending on the wearer’s wrist size, making the construction itself part of the design rather than simply a decorative element. The white dial features a blue ring with white numerals, together with neon orange and red hands.

Aquafun is part of Swatch’s smaller Midi Pop family, with a 32 mm case rather than the larger 39 mm format associated with standard Pop Swatch models.

The original presentation is also unusual: the watch was supplied in a transparent waterproof plastic box that could be worn around the neck, extending the aquatic theme beyond the watch itself. Complete examples retaining this original packaging are especially appealing to collectors.
