Miami Destination GK209MI by Swatch is a limited-edition regional Gent wristwatch released in 1998 as part of the rare USA Destination series.

The watch has a transparent plastic case measuring approximately 33 mm / 1.3 in in diameter, together with a plastic crystal and printed plastic strap. It is powered by a Swiss quartz movement and was originally rated to 3 bar / 30 m water resistance.

The Miami version was sold exclusively in the United States and was produced in a limited edition of only 2,000 pieces. Unlike many numbered special editions, the individual watches were not serially numbered.

The model belongs to a group of seven U.S. Destination watches created for cities that had official Swatch stores at the time, including Miami, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Las Vegas. The watches used the transparent GK209 Gent platform with city-specific straps and were originally supplied with special Destination paper slipcovers.

Miami Destination combines Swatch’s minimalist transparent-watch design with location-specific graphics, giving the model both a strong regional identity and a clear late-1990s character.
