The Wrong Gallery était le plus petit espace d'exposition de New York, situé au 516A1/2 West 20th Street à Chelsea. Ouverte en 2002, elle a fermé ses portes en septembre 2005. Elle a rouvert ses portes à la Tate Modern en décembre 2005. Ce lieu à but non lucratif dispose d'un mètre carré d'espace d'exposition. Le programme d'exposition et les expérimentations artistiques de cette minuscule galerie sont conceptualisés et dirigés par Maurizio Cattelan, Ali Subotnick et Massimiliano Gioni. À ce jour, ils ont organisé plus de 30 expositions présentant des œuvres de Lawrence Weiner, Elizabeth Peyton, Paul McCarthy et bien d'autres.
