Basierend auf seiner riesigen 40 Fuß großen Flower Puppy-Skulptur. Nur die erste Serie von Plüschwelpen wurde mit dem Namen des Künstlers auf dem Etikett autorisiert.
Später wurden unsignierte Serien ohne Künstlernamen produziert. Dieses Stück hat noch das Originaletikett (erste Serie).

Es entstand zeitgleich mit seiner Einzelausstellung und Installation der riesigen Blumenskulptur im Guggenheim-Museum im spanischen Bilbao. Es ist nun Teil der Dauerausstellung und steht stolz am Eingang des Museums.

Flower Puppy Plush by Jeff Koons is a collectible plush art object inspired by Koons’ famous Puppy, the monumental floral sculpture first created in 1992 and permanently associated with the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. The original sculpture is made from stainless steel, soil, and live flowering plants, transforming the form of a West Highland terrier into a massive living artwork. 

This plush version measures 17 × 20 × 8 cm and is made from soft plush material with bean bag stuffing. It includes the Guggenheim Bilbao tag and Jeff Koons printed label; first-series examples are noted for carrying the artist’s name on the label, while later unsigned versions were produced without it. Compact, playful, and highly recognizable, Flower Puppy Plush is a strong collectible for fans of Jeff Koons, Pop Art, museum editions, plush art toys, and artist-designed objects.
